Trailer Truckin' Tech:
Sharing the Road, Arriving Alive
The purpose of this site.

Picture
I am a long time truck driver with millions of miles driven safely from coast to coast. Besides my work as a driver, I am an author and writer in the trucking along with working at Trailer Truckin' Tech, my yahoo group, and thru the Women In Trucking Association, with new  and prospective drivers.  It is in the latter work that I decided to first write  a book called Street Smarts: A Guide for a Truck Driver's Personal Safety which led to my writing Arriving Alive dealing with  personal safety for the general public when traveling.  Included in that book is a section on sharing the road with semi trucks; now I am doing website both to educate people about personal safety, to educate folks about the trucking industry and how to share the road with semi trucks.

A side purpose to the site is to allow people who might be interested in becoming truck drivers a chance to learn about the trucking industry a little before seeking more in depth information.  I hope ya'll enjoy the site and learn something useful here.
